Good post! I'm checking out those YouTube channels! I believe reading is as natural as anything else-- if its cultivated by reading a lot aloud to your children. If its something that's apart of your life. .. they will learn, but don't put a time scale on it.... every child is different and every child learns differently. That's one reason I home school is that I can tailor to the individual needs of our kids :-)
